Problem 1 : The analysis of the bottom product of a distillation tower is shown in table 1 below. The bottom pressure of the tower is 1980 kPa. Calculate the reboiler temperature for the distillation system

Problem 2 : An absorber containing 5.5 theoretical plates uses a lean oil with a relative density of 0.82 flowing at the rate of 2500 m3/d. The molecular weight of the lean oil is 160. The tower pressure is 600kPa and the average temperature for calculation is 28°C. The gas flowrate is 1.5×10^6 m3/d. The analysis of the entering rich gas is shown in table 2 below. Estimate the recovery of each component.
